Seiko is a fixed size among the divers watch providers. The Propex automatic diver’s are available in different sizes, colors and different depths of immersion. The reference SRP639K1 comes in a 47 mm stainless steel housing with titanium carbide bezel. With screwed housing base and screwed crown the watch remains waterproof up to 200 meters. Large surface-coated indices and pointers enable optimum legibility even in murky waters. A weekday and date display at three o’clock allows the automatic caliber 4R36. With a price of 479 euro, this model is part of Seiko’s mid-price segment. Diving watch #2 under 1,500 euro: Davosa Ternos Professional diver

It is visually similar to the Rolex Submariner, but does not cost even 1,000 euros. The Davosa Ternos Professional diver offers a 42 millimeter-sized stainless steel case with ceramic bezel, which remains tight until 50 bar. At such depths it is necessary to have a helium valve, which has built davosa on the left side of the housing. It protects the automatic ETA plant 2824, which by default brings a date at three o’clock. A black and a blue version are available for each 748 euro. There is also a model (in 6 variants) for 50 euros less. This is only 40 millimeters in size, with date Magnifier and a compressive strength of up to 200 meters. Green diver watches are not seen too often, while the colour underlines the sportiness of the Prodiverr lime. Stowa specializes mainly in pilot watches, but their divers watches are also worth a closer look. The prodivers are available in various design finishes, all of them in common is a 42 mm titanium case with a considerable waterproofness of up to 1,000 meters and the price of 1,220 euro. Dive Watch #4 under 1,500 euro: Oris Aquis Date

Here at InsideWatch, Oris delivered with the Aquis depth gauge 2013 the first mechanical diving watch whose depth gauge works up to 100 meters. The model costs almost 5,000 euros. Significantly cheaper and attractive for beginners as well as pros is the Aquis date for a price from 1,450 euros. The divers are available in different sizes (36 and 43 mm) and colour finishes. The stainless steel casing always remains waterproof up to 300 meters. As the model name suggests, the automatic caliber Sellita SW 200 offers a date at six o’clock. According to his own specifications, the Aquis date is the bestseller of Oris. Diver’s watch #5 under 1,500 euro: Sense Special watches EZM 3 divers Watch

The speciality of the Frankfurt brand is the use of timer for pilots and divers. With regard to the highest functionality, Sinn special watches equips its EZM 3 divers watch with technical finesse that the Frankfurt company has to offer: magnetic field protection up to 80,000 A/m, AR-Dry holding technology, functional safety from-45 °c to+80 °c, a Diver’s rotary ring with Minutenrastung and for more comfort, the crown sits on the left side of the housing. The functional safety is tested in accordance with the European Diving equipment standard and certified by the DNV GL. The 41 mm-large housing offers a compressive strength of up to 50 bar.
