Basso Back in the Pink after Four Years

With four miles left to the finish in Aprica attacked Ivan Basso and Vincenzo Nibali in the Mortirolo and the set of all the worst competitors of Ivan Basso on the lutsegern in the Giro d’Italia. David Arroyo (Caisse d ‘ Epargen), Cadel Evans (BMC Racing Team), Alexandre Vinokourov (Astana) and Carlos Sastre (Cervelo Test Team) were all giving way.It was just Michele Scarponi (Androni Giocattoli) that could follow the duo.
