For the specific case of patches of pine resin in double tent ceiling, it is necessary, first of all, wait for the resin to dry. Then, put an ice cube on the inside of the fabric at the point of resin. The resin becomes brittle and get out more easily by scraping gently.

There is also the fabric cleaning with SOAP St. Mark (the base of pine resin), which can give good results.

It should be noted that the application of solvents greatly reduces the qualities of impermeability of the fabric of the tents. Its use for cleaning a tent is not advised.

When the tent is dry, you can store it in your package. Is strongly discouraged store a wet tent on your packaging, at risk to develop mold and odors.

It is also preferable to store the tent somewhere dry.
