Kickoff for the Team Trek Sweden

Road: Cool cycling, presentation of new material and a sumptuous Christmas dinner. In a newsletter tells the Team Trek Sweden about the team’s kickoff for next season.

This weekend kept the Team Trek’s first official legal code and kickoff at Åhusstrand hotels. With at the camp where cyclists Emil Andersson, Jimmy B., Mattias Brolin, Emil Eriksson, Emil Gabrils, Fredrik Johansson, Patrick P, Nils Penton and Marcus P.

Despite a chilly Skåne cyclists braved the cold weather and went on to a long ride on Saturday.

After a workout and a good lunch at Åhusstrand, it was time for the first meeting together with Fredrik Enmesh from Trek Sweden AB. Fredrik held a briefing about the brand and its ethics. The cyclists and the leaders also received a presentation of the equipment that will be used next season.

The cyclists will ride on new Trek Madone 5.9. The Powertrain consists of Dura Ace 9000 and the wheels come from Bontrager. The cyclists will be dressed in cycling clothing from Trimtex, using shoes from Bontrager and helmet, goggles and pedals from Exustar. To get all the equipment to and from races, cyclists will make use of the bags from the Epic travel gear. The cyclists will make use of promotional clothing from CLWR so that cyclists are stylish, even outside of the racetrack.

After that the material presented discussed upcoming seasonal competition calendar. At present the Swedish calendar was not yet nailed, but it is clear that the Trek United Kingdom Racing will be the main focus in the Swedish Cup, SM, Norwegian and Danish Cup, as well as some international races outside the Nordic region.

Saturday ended with a very nice Christmas dinner at the hotel. In addition to good food and good company so we had a great entertainment in the form of Gyllene Tider band Billy’s. The cyclists saw to leave Christmas dinner before it was too late and left dancing to the other guests.

Sunday began with a common breakfast and then another workout in the winter landscape. The camp will end with lunch at the hotel.

With at the camp were also leaders Patrik Jönsson, Mats Harring and Ola Karlsson.
