Safety, Aerodynamics and Low Weight

AScott, one of the world’s leading bicycle brands, today introduced its new helmet models.    The Centric Plus 2017, especially developed for mountain bikers, and Cadence Plus 2017, for road cyclists and triathletes, bring the best in ergonomics, ventilation, lightness, aerodynamics and, of course, safety.

Scott Centric Plus 2017

One of the most modern models on the market and specially developed for the high-performance cyclist, the Centric Plus 2017 is the same mountain bike helmet used by Swiss Nino Schurter and Sweden’s Jenny Rissveds to win the gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

When looking at Centric Plus, the first impression is full attention to detail, both in construction and ergonomics and aerodynamics. See the differentials:

MIPS technology-the technology that revolutionized bicycle helmets for a few years remains prominent in Scott’s 2017 line. It makes the helmet even safer at angular impacts.

HALO Fit System System-state-of-the-art technology applied. It is a system of adjustment and fixation of the helmet, which allows numerous positions for the perfect accommodation of the equipment to the head of the cyclist. You can adjust pressure and height using only one hand.

Scott Air Ventilation Technology-Provides superior ventilation to other helmet models. According to a study by the Swiss body of engineering, Scott Air increases ventilation efficiency by 16% if compared to models without this technology.

X-STATIC inner foam-prevents odors and bacteria.

With an approximate weight of 250g, the new Centric Plus helmets are available in sizes S, M and L.

Scott Cadence Plus 2017

Specially developed for road cyclists and triathletes, the new Cadence Plus is the result of applying all the expertise in aerodynamics and comfort acquired by Scott over the years. The goal was to build one of the safest and most well-ventilated helmets in the category.

The big difference between Cadence and Centric is aerodynamics. Although it can be used on the road, the Centric is more mountain bike-oriented. Cadence has all the aerodynamics that a road rider needs to achieve its highest performance.

Scott’s Cadence Plus and Centri Plus 2017 helmets will be available from November through stores throughout Brazil.
