The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is the exam required to enter Postgraduate (Master, Doctorate) in the USA.
The results are required by North American universities to measure skills in three areas: verbal, quantitative and analytical. They are not related to any specific area of study.

The score is between 200 and 800 points, the minimum required will depend on the business school to which you are applying. The unofficial results can be seen on the screen at the end of the exam, the official results are available after 20 days and are reported by GMAC directly to the applicant.

It usually schedules between 3 and 4 dates per month throughout the year, and publishes on its website only those that have available places at the time of consultation during the next 3 months.
