Way of the Headlights and the Crossing of the Longest Beach in the World in Rio Grande do Sul

In 2017, the Rio Grande do Sul is a new ecological path option in the first half. The Way of Lights features a format in said with meditative walks for those who seek active eco-spiritual peace in integration with nature.

The screenplay by 190 km travelled in 8 days with approximately 25 km a day, starts in the town of Capilha, Rio Grande (RS), skirts the Taim ecological station to the coast by the sawmill road, along the waterfront to the thermal center of Barra do Chuí, Santa Vitória do Palmar (RS).

The Way the headlights represents an evolution of the first project created by the odontologist Gaucho Fernando Pereira de Souza Neto, who idealized, invested and turned into reality the script of “crossing the longest Beach in the world”, which has existed for 3 years and are in your 10th Edition, attracting people from all over the country. Fernando had their goals of life transformed after pilgrimage alone could of deserted Beach between the Casino and the Barra do Chuí, when the “path” was so positive and processors who decided to find a way to share this experience with more people.

This new script-“path of the headlights” – also as a historic-cultural bailout by the existence of several archaeological points of interest such as historical shipwrecks, old churches, old lighthouses, paleontological sites and “Spain”, that are extensions of beach covered by a thick layer of fossil shells.

 

The script will be released soon, and has unique characteristics, different from others already in Brazil and in the world. This is a new option addressed not only those people who have an excellent fitness – as required in other paths of adventure trails already exist – but will also provide unforgettable experiences with a nature still little explored.

2017 – international year of sustainable tourism for development

Recently, the UN declared 2017 as the international year of sustainable tourism for development, and the route of the “Way of the headlights” provides a routine that includes the flora and fauna of a locality still little known in the world.

To the extent that oportunizada participants the voluntary implementation of garbage collection activities on the beach, and other actions that contribute to the environment of the region, this new project of contemplative tourism as a means of environmental preservation should become an important reference in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.
